This is the large undeveloped property adjacent to Kings Bay on the south side. It is slated for development which could impact the quality of life in the area. LUXCOM, the current owner, is involved in several lawsuits with The Village of Palmetto Bay regarding zoning and land use issues. KBHOA will monitor and update residents as events unfold.

Property sold to Oscar Barbara / Luxcom, a Coral Gables developer, for $33 Million DEC 2018. Current effort is underway to increase density zoning to allow upwards of 300+ homes, townhomes and condos.

In the early part of 2014 FPL began marketing the Cutler Power Plant eventually listing it for $40 million dollars. FPL is currently reviewing proposals and has stopped advertising.
KBPOA has formed a committee to keep KB residents updated.

Florida Power & Light imploded the outdated power plant just south of Kings Bay on Saturday August 10th 2013 at 7AM. Many residents had gathered to witness the dramatic new vista first hand.
