This meeting was for the City of Coral Gables Commission to accept or decline a grant for the proposed gravity sewer system for Kings Bay.  KBHOA Board Members feel that this is an untimely event with large financial ramifications for KB property owners.  Many owners don't want the grant to offset the cost to pass hoping to halt the sewer project. Others feel this could be inevitable and think it would be financially irresponsible not to accept the grant - a $18K+ per KB homeowner mistake.  A petition to reject the septic tank-to-sewer conversion for Kings Bay was circulated by a few residents and speaking opportunities at the meeting were available.  This meeting was for the grant acceptance which may or may not have a bearing on the overall sewer conversion project going forward.  The documents below are a small example of what has been found.
