KB Residents Enjoy Waterfront & Use of King's Bay Turning Basin
Update on Marina Access: It was reported at the April 13th 2012 KBPOA meeting that residents are enjoying their ocean access and use of the marina. The KBPOA has an established Marina Committee to address any concerns our members may have using the marina or enjoying their pedestrian access along the waterfront for owners and their families. We encourage you to contact Rudy Nunez(rnunez@acg-law.com), William Caycedo(w-caycedo@bniengineers.com), or Stephanie Boyette(stef.boyette@icloud.com) on the committee to discuss and document any questions or concerns you may have.
Summary of Marina Use & Enjoyment: Owners of lots in Kings Bay have pedestrian access to walk and enjoy the waterfront between 7 A.M. and 12 Midnight all year long. KB residents may walk and enjoy the waterfront along Permit Drive, around the dock master building, along the boat ramp, service dock and Kings Bay guest slips but not out onto Co-op finger piers. KB residents enjoy 24-hour access and use when their boat is in the water or in one of the eight Kings Bay guest slips.
KB guest slips and the dock adjacent to the boat ramp may be used for overnight dockage for two consecutive nights for up to eight Kings Bay boats per night with owners having 24-hour access to their boats.
There are no fees or charges for marina access and use, whether use of the boat ramp, overnighting in a Kings Bay guest slip, or enjoying the waterfront. Please remember to register on file with the dock master but keep in mind that he does not work for us nor is it his job to assist us with our boats.
